CISF Officer Who Stopped Salman Khan At The Airport Was Not Penalized, Here’s What Actually Happened

The CISF officer who recently created a buzz after appearing in a paparazzi video where he stopped superstar Salman Khan at the airport and asked him to follow the security protocol. While his action was lauded by the netizens it was rumoured that the officer was penalized for his action and his phone was confiscated to prevent him from talking to the media.

But the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has clarified that the officer was not reprimanded but awarded for his exemplary professionalism. Taking to their official Twitter handle, CISF wrote, “The contents of this tweet are incorrect & without factual basis. In fact, the officer concerned has been suitably rewarded for exemplary professionalism in the discharge of his duty.”

For those who are unaware, a video has been doing rounds on social media which showed Salman Khan arriving at the airport to travel to Russia where he is shooting for his upcoming film Tiger 3. As Salman Khan directly approached towards the airport the CISF officer gestured him to first get the security clearance from the security checkpoint.
