However, the journey to stardom hasn’t been easy for the diva as she has seen her share of struggles. Ananya Panday in the past has been trolled for her body and the way she looks.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ananya Panday revealed that she used to get nasty comments even before her Bollywood debut. “I don’t remember the exact time but I remember there used to be pictures of me with my parents. At that time, I wasn’t an actor. I would go out with my parents and as I said, I was very thin. People used to say I look like a boy, a flatscreen, and all those kinds of things,” she said in the interview.
Ananya continued further and added, “At that time, it did hurt because those are the times when you are forming your self-confidence and you are learning to love yourself. And then, when you feel like someone else is pulling you down, you start doubting yourself, the way you look, and everything. But I feel like now, slowly, I am reaching a point where I am just focussing on accepting myself,” she said.
On the work front, Ananya Panday has been doing interesting projects in her kitty. She will be next seen in Shakun Batra’s untitled film, in which she would be sharing the screen with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone. She also has Puri Jagannadh’s pan-Indian film, Liger, opposite Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda.
