Sushant Singh Rajput’s College Friend Pens Down An Emotional Letter, Talks About Time When A Man Mistook SSR For Dhoni

Sushant Singh Rajput rose to fame when he debuted on the silver screen with Kai Po Che but after doing MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, the actor got rose to extreme success and recognition. He essayed the character in that particular movie and since then there was no looking for the actor. To get into the skin of any character, the actor used to go to the extremes to get it right. Something like that had happened with Sushant when he was preparing for MS Dhoni’s biopic,  a man mistook him as our former Cricket captain. Recalling the day, Sushant Singh Rajput’s college friend Vishad Dubey penned down a long note as the movie completed four years of its release today.

Vishad Dubey took to his Instagram handle and shared a video of Sushant doing net practice. While sharing the video, he first mentioned a quote from APJ Abdul Kalam which read, “To become ‘unique,’ the challenge is to fight the hardest battle which anyone can imagine until you reach your destination.” Sharing the backstory of the video, he further wrote, “ I edited as a twitter friend wanted to do some activity close to the release of the movie and requested me to provide an unseen footage Anecdote – For 10 months straight, we use to practice for hours together to first get the cricketing skills right and later fine-tune the nuances of mannerisms to imbibe #MSDhoni. Once in MCA (I think we were already into the 7th month of practice), Sushant was going through his routine of hitting shots with a straight bat (as directed by Kiran More Sir) being bowled at by young Ranji players. What we were unaware of was that there was a man sitting in the balcony and keenly observing. Later, during the day the man comes down and asks Kiran More Sir, that which state this person (Sushant in his kit, so aptly unrecognizable) plays for.

To become 'unique,' the challenge is to fight the hardest battle which anyone can imagine until you reach your destination. #APJKalam Context- one of the videos , I edited as a twitter friend wanted to do some activity close to the release of the movie and requested me to provide an unseen footage Anecdote – For 10 months straight , we use to practice for hours together to first get the cricketing skills right and later finetune the nuances of mannerisms to imbibe #MSDhoni . What we were unaware of was that there was a man sitting in the balcony and keenly observing. Later , during the day the man comes down and asks Kiran More Sir , that which state this person (Sushant in his kit , so aptly unrecognizable ) plays for. More Sir laughs and says he is Sushant , the actor who is portraying MS in the movie. The Man was surprised. Soon after the niceties were exchanged between Sushant and the man himself – #SachinTendulkar and I quickly whisper in Sushant's ear- " Kya din aagaye bachpan se ; aaj hum khel rahe aur sachin dekh raha (ignore the casual reference) 🙏. He smiled and said , "yehi to asli success hai . " – your childhood heroes becoming your admirers💪💪 Once again, thanks #SushantSinghRajput for the life lived #4YearsOfMSDhoniTheUntoldStory🌪☀
