Producer Madhur Bhandarkar has taken issue with the title of Karan Johar’s most recent creation, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Taking to Twitter Bhandarkar guaranteed that Johar and Apoorva Mehta (CEO of Dharma Productions) have changed the title of his forthcoming venture, Bollywood Wives after he would not give the name to them.
For a long while, movie producer Karan Johar has been standing out as truly newsworthy for all the dubious reasons. After Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing, netizens pummeled Karan Johar and censured him for cornering SSR, KJo has indeed arrived in a tough situation for his impending web show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. As of late, movie producer Madhur Bhandarkar took to his social media to demand KJo and Apoorva Mehta to change the title of the show. In his tweet, he blamed KJo for abusing his title ‘Bollywood Wives’ and tweaking it to Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives for the web series.
Madhur Bhandarkar’s tweet read, “Dear @karanjohar U & @apoorvamehta18 had asked me 4 the title #BollywoodWives for web, which I refused, as my project is underway. It is Morally & ethically wrong u to tweak it to #TheFabulousLivesofBollywoodWives. Pls, do not dent my project. I humbly request u to change the title.” Soon after the news went viral, netizens decided to sign a petition to ban his chat show Koffee With Karan show.
Tweeting about the same, a user expressed, “Madhur Bhandarkar file case against Karan johar #KaranJohar For abusing the title Bollywood wives. They approach presently to criticize them #KaranJohar,” while another stated, “SSRians please sign the appeal underneath and RT max. Boycott Koffee With Karan. #KaranJohar produces crazy television programs and films as well.”
