Shefali Jariwala is one of the celebrities who recently slammed the paparazzi for mobbing Shehnaaz as she arrived to attend Sidharth’s last rites. Celebs including Gauahar Khan, Disha Parmar, Suyyash Rai, and Zareen Khan, had earlier voiced their opinion against the paparazzi for hounding Shehnaaz at the crematorium ground. And now in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Shefali had expressed her anger at people who were hounding the late actor’s family and ladylove Shehnaaz.
She was quoted as saying, “I was so angry to see the way people hounded her. You have to look at her condition. My heart was breaking to watch that. It was not right,” she continues, “Shehnaaz and his [Sidharth’s] mother and sisters are grieving, you have to give them the space and privacy to do so. And this is basic empathy, where is the compassion? I understand ratings and all but not at this cost.”
Jariwala, who had participated with both Shehnaaz and Sidharth on Bigg Boss 13, also mentioned that she is still in disbelief and is still struggling to come to terms with his sad demise. “It’s been very difficult for me, the passing of a friend and something that we did not expect at all. It has been a shocker and it still has not sunk in actually,” the actress added.
