Arnab Goswami is one of the most popular TV anchors in India and his popularity is all for the wrong reasons. He has been sent a show-cause notice by Mumbai Police for the news that he portrays on Republic TV. There are so many memes created on the anchor and now it seems even Bigg Boss 14 host Salman Khan couldn’t keep himself from taking a sly dig at the Republic TV anchor.
During the Sushant Singh Rajput debate, one of the biggest news channels Republic had taken a jibe a Salman Khan for not speaking up on SSR’s death case and drug allegations. During the Bigg Boss 14’s Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan was seen telling the contestants to be honest and real to make it bigger and better. He also said that one should not speak nonsense, lie and shout and it can also shut the channel. He said, “Bigg Boss ke andar ya kisi bhi show ke andar, you have to play the right game. Yeh nahi ki TRP ke liye kuch bhi khelo. Bahut achcha ja rahe ho tum log. From Day-1, I have never seen the response you are getting. To make it bigger and better, be honest and real. Not by ki yaar yeh bakwas kar raha hai, jhoot bol raha hai, chilla raha hai. Point yeh nahi hai. Woh aapke channel ko bandh kar denge.”
“(You have to play the right game in Bigg Boss or any other show. You can’t do anything for TRP. From Day-1, I have never seen the response you are getting. Be honest and real to strike it big and make it better. One should not speak nonsense, lie and shout. This is not the point. They will shut your channel).” He further added, “Jo mujhe kehna tha, indirectly maine keh diya (What I wanted to say, I have said indirectly).”
