Due to which the Maharashtra government has imposed a partial lockdown from April 4th to April 30th. Because of this, the private offices are asked to follow work from home routine. Moreover, a complete shutdown has been announced during weekends and night curfews. The rules are the same for the entertainment industry as well.
On the contrary, many people have expressed their disappointment with the idea of lockdown. Entertainment industry FWICE also appealed to the government to provide some ease as the industry hasn’t fully recovered from the losses. Whilst some celebrities shared their views via social media platforms such as Abhinav Shukla and Nakul Mehta, Karan Patel.
The Big Boss 14 contestant Abhinav Shukla exchanged his thoughts with Spotboye in an interview. “It’s as if history is repeating itself only a year after the first lockdown.” Lockdown is not a vaccine or a treatment for COVID; rather, it is a method of slowing the transmission of the virus so that our medical machinery does not fail due to a large number of cases! Lockdown, on the other hand, slows the economy, causes jobs, and creates disparities! If we (the public and the administration) do not learn from the first lockdown, we will prove the adage true: “people who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” He shared.
