Alia Bhatt, had a busy year in 2022, both professionally and personally. Alia was always in the news, from developing her clothing company to releasing her production banner’s debut film to marrying and embracing parenthood. Today, March 15, the actress turned a year older, and the internet is once again swamped with birthday greetings for the Student Of The Year actress. Apart from netizens and fan groups, Alia’s elder sister and novelist Shaheen Bhatt also congratulated her, although with a peculiar twist.
Bhatt dedicated two posts to her actress-sister on Wednesday eve. The first included a previously unseen shot of Alia. Although Alia appears gloomy in the first shot, the Bhatt sisters appear to be having fun together in the second. For the second photo, Shaheen and Alia smiled from ear to ear. “30 years of this face,” Shaheen captioned the first post. Alia responded, “Hahahahahahahahaha”.
In contrast, the author added in the description of the second post, “30 years of these faces. / Happy Birthday best buddy. / I couldn’t have completed a single step of this trip without you – there is no Tanna without Aloo.” These tweets quickly drew the attention of admirers, who inundated the comments area with red-heart emojis.
Alia’s mother-in-law, actress Neetu Kapoor, had also shared a beautiful snapshot of the birthday girl earlier in the day. Captioning the shot, in which Alia was flaunting a black off-shoulder gown, Neetu wrote “Happy Birthday BAHURANI (crown emoji) only love n more love”.
In terms of work, the 30-year-old actress just finished filming a song for Karan Johar’s forthcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film is set to be released on July 28th of this year.
