Bigg Boss 14 ended with a bang on Sunday as Rubina Dilaik was announced the winner of the season. The actress walked out with the BB trophy and prize money of Rs 36 lakhs. During her stint in BB, Rubina faced many obstacles and she was even schooled often by host Salman Khan for her actions. Rubina had entered the show with her husband Abhinav Shukla, who was evicted a week before the finale. During one of the episodes, Rubina had revealed that she and Abinav Shukla were about to get divorced. Now, after coming out of the controversial house, Rubina spoke about her current relationship status with Abhinav Shukla.
In an interview with ETimes, Rubina Dilaik was asked if her decision of doing the reality show proved right. It was also mentioned to her that Abhinav had said that their relationship has become stronger after Bigg Boss. Rubina said, “Yes, my relationship with Abhinav (Shukla) has got better and become stronger.” Adding further, the actress said, “When you keep your most intimate relationship in the public eye and that too in a most vulnerable state, then your protective instinct comes out.”
Talking about why she was protective on the show, the actress said, “Then to protect that relationship you find ways and means to make it stronger. Bigg Boss gave us an opportunity to do that and with utmost confidence we say that we have found a new strength within each other.” Rubina mentioned that Bigg Boss gave Abhinav and her an opportunity to make their relationship stronger.
Meanwhile, during the interview, Rubina also thanked her fans for the big win. She said she wants to tell her fans that she is what she is today because of them. Rubina said, “I think everything was worth it I feel after winning the show.”
