Famous rapper and music composer Honey Singh who was away from the limelight for quite a long time is now again in trouble. The Punjabi singer’s wife Shalini Talwar has filed a case accusing the rapper and his family of subjecting her to mental and physical abuse on various occasions. Talwar has filed a case of domestic violence and has also sought compensation of Rs 10 crore under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
Shalini Talwar also told the court that she has been treated like a farm animal being treated cruelly. Talwar also mentioned in her plea that she has been subjected to various physical and mental abuses by Honey Singh and his family. The wife of the rapper has also said that Honey Singh would often torture her physically by beating her mercilessly.
After hearing the plea, the court has issued a notice to Hirdesh Singh famously known as Yo Yo Honey Singh to respond until 28th August. The court has restrained the singer from alienating or creating third-party right in their jointly owned property. Talwar also said that Honey Singh often used to have casual sex with multiple women and would beat her for confronting him.
Shalini also claimed that his father-in-law once walked into her room in a drunken state while she was changing her clothes. She further said that her father-in-law also grazed his hands over her chest and she has evidence for proving domestic violence perpetrated at her.
