The Citizenship Amendment Bill or Act has taken a serious turn and protests against CAA are spreading like wildfire. Many of the protestors have actually called upon the influencers and the Bollywood celebs for stating their thoughts and supporting them for CAB protest.
While not many stars have yet spoken on this protest, stars like Anurag Kashyap, Rajkummar Rao, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal have reacted to the bill and the protests that are going around against it.
Mahesh Bhatt also stated his views on CAB but what he received from Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel was rather unexpected. Mahesh Bhatt took to his Twitter handle to oppose to the bill passed by the PM Narendra Modi led government. She took the revenge on a rather personal level.
It all started when the famous Bollywood director guaranteed to oppose the CAA. Rangoli Chandel then tweeted, “Bhatt saab kitabein padh lene se hum sirf badi batein seekh sakte hain, bade ban nahin sakte, jawan ladki ko jaangh pe bithakar aise kiss karke photo khichwate ho, insaan apne karmon se bada banta hai, kya kiya hai aapne desh keliye? Yeh sab farzi libralpan ab nahin chalega..” Questioning on what Mahesh Bhatt’s contribution to the country has ever been, Rangoli attacked the filmmaker on a personal level by sharing an old picture of him caught kissing daughter Pooja Bhatt on lips.

Clarifying her point on the matter, Rangoli also tweeted, “Doston pehle bhi iss desh ko kai baar videshiyon ke saath milkar hamare apno ne hi bech khaya tha, ab bhi jinko ghuspaithon ki rok se dard ho raha hai, wahi hamare dushman hain, humein Bharat Mata ki raksha karni hai, Jai Hind”

Meanwhile, as Mahesh Bhatt has not officially reacted to Rangoli Chandel’s tweet, earlier this morning, the filmmaker shared a picture that read, “’If you want peace stop finding faults with others.’ Maa Shardaa,” and we wonder if that’s his answer to it all.”
