In a recent interview, Palak Tiwari shared that she has been a fan of her mother, Shweta’s stunning looks since her childhood. Television actress, Shweta Tiwari had become a family name after her role of ‘Prerna’ in the TV show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She shows prowess in acting in shows such as Parvarish, Begusarai, and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. Once in a while, she hits the limelight either for her work dedications or her personal life. Shweta Tiwari was married two times, but unfortunately, none of her marriages worked out.
In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Palak Tiwari disclosed that she loves it when people say that Shweta looks like her elder sister rather than her mother. Palak added that she has been a fan of her mother’s looks since her childhood. Speaking about how her mother, Shweta looks like her elder sister, she stated:
“That’s for sure. I love it. I love that she is so happening. In fact when I was younger also, I’ve loved it since then. Because my nani would normally pick me up from school, what a bratty kid I was, but the day my mom was coming to pick me up I was like ‘oh, my mom is hot and good-looking and everyone is gonna be staring at her. I used to be like, ‘huh, yeah, that’s my mom, so.’ I used to feel very cool. Till date it’s like that, I was like ‘that’s my mom.’ I am very proud of it.”
Furthermore, in the same, Palak shared that she and her mom, Shweta are so close that they also tell each other about their crushes. Further, she spoke about what occurs when her male friends tell Shweta that they find her hot. When asked if her guy friends have ever mentioned that they have a crush on Shweta, Palak admitted:
“It is the weirdest thing. I have yelled at so many of my guy friends. They’ve not said that they have a crush on her, they’re like ‘dude your mom is quite hot huh’ and I was like ‘you say this and now my mom is gonna belo (beat with a rolling pin) like that.’ So for her everyone my age is like ‘beta’ and she has always been very maternal so when my friends say ‘Shweta, you are so hot,’ she is like, ‘eh, nikal isko (throw him out).'”
On the work front, Palak Tiwari will be next seen in the horror film, Rosie The Saffron Chapter.
