During one of her interviews, Pakistani actress Mahnoor Baloch was mocked by Shah Rukh Khan’s followers for saying he doesn’t know how to act or isn’t attractive. Mahnoor Baloch, a Pakistani actress, sparked outrage on social media with her comments on Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She has received negative feedback from SRK’s millions of admirers ever since she said he wasn’t attractive and didn’t know acting. Mahnoor made her television debut in 1993 with the drama serial Marvi. Later, in 2000, she also began directing and producing drama serials, such as Lamhay, Patjhar Ki Chaioon, and others. She appeared in the Pakistani film Main Hoon Shahid Afridi in 2013 and made her Hollywood debut in the movie Torn.
Mahnoor Baloch says Shah Rukh Khan isn’t handsome and doesn’t know acting
In an interview on the talk show Had Kar Di, aired on the Samaa TV channel, Mahnoor Baloch shared her thoughts on what truly makes a person attractive. She mentioned that the Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan is not conventionally handsome. However, she also shared her opinion that the actor has a strong personality and an aura which made people notice him. Mahnoor said:
”Shah Rukh Khan has a very good personality, but if you see him according to the beauty parameters and what is considered handsome, he doesn’t come under that. It is just that his personality and aura are so strong that he looks good. He has that thing (aura), but there are many beautiful people, who don’t have any aura, so people do not even notice them.”
Furthermore, Mahnoor stated that SRK has no acting experience. However, she made mention of the actor’s strong commercial acumen and adept self-promotional abilities. In contrast to many other actors who aren’t as successful as King Khan, this is what makes him a spectacular star. Mahnoor continued: ”It is my opinion about Shah Rukh Khan that he doesn’t know acting. He is a great businessman, he knows how to market himself. This is my opinion. I’m sure he has many fans who think that I’m wrong and that’s fine. He has a good personality, he markets himself well. There are a lot of actors who are not as successful, so he has to some kind of a business mind to do that.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s performance in his 1994 movie Anjaam, however, also received accolades from Mahnoor. She began by stating that SRK is most suited for psychotic parts and went on to laud those roles that he has portrayed. She said: ”That thing suited him. I don’t like him in romantic (roles). I like him in psychopathic (characters)… like in Anjaam, he was amazing in that, so believable.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s followers have been incensed by Mahnoor’s comments on him ever since the video was published. Mahnoor has received a lot of criticism and trolls online as a result of her comments, which rankled the Bollywood star’s ardent supporters. According to one online user, ”Plastic ka dabba Mahnoor SRK pe comment Karegi lol,” another user mentioned, ”Iski himmat kaise hui bolne ki gadhi.”
