Nushrratt Bharuchha returned to Mumbai after getting stuck in war-torn Israel for a few hours. The actress had visited the country to attend a film festival when it was attacked by Palestinian militant group Hamas. At around 3 pm Nushrratt was spotted at the Mumbai airport and left for her home.

The diva could be seen in shock and emotion as she touched down in her hometown. For the unversed, The Palestinian militant group Hamas has attacked Israel, with its fighters near the Gaza Strip. The attack has killed more than 400 citizens and thousands injured.

Nushrratt Bharuchha comes back from Israel

Nushrratt attended her film “Akelli” premiere at the Haifa International Film Festival in Israel. Following missile attacks, her team reported her sheltering in a basement. The team further reported that they could not get in touch with the actress for several hours.  This caused a temporary communication gap and panic amongst her team.

Sunday morning brought relief as Nushrratt’s team confirmed her safe return to India with embassy assistance. Around 2 p.m., she landed in Mumbai, stepping out of the airport after enduring a long and worrisome ordeal.

The video captures the actress surrounded by a crowd of media and paparazzi on her way to the car. She appeared visibly fatigued and troubled, declining to respond to the reporters and simply stating, “I require some time.”

Interestingly, Nushrratt’s experience in Israel mirrors the storyline of her movie, Akelli. In the film, her character faces a similar situation, trapped in a war-torn nation, showcasing a brave struggle for survival until evacuation.

Recently, videos emerged of Nushrratt promoting Akelli in Israel shortly before the attack. These videos feature her alongside co-star Israeli actor Tsahi Halevi. The actress’s last video from Israel is now doing rounds on the internet. In one of the clips, she could be seen singing a song with her teammates.
