On the work front, Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in Jersey with Mrunal Thakur. The film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the movie is about to be the Bollywood remake of the National Award Winning Tamil film Jersey starring Nani. The film is based on a sports drama and was originally slated to release in December 2021, however, the release was postponed owing to a spike in COVID 19 cases.
The film ‘Jersey’ is all set to release on Baisakhi, on April 14. Apart from this, he also has Ali Abbas Zafar’s actioner that is yet to get a title. Furthermore, Shahid Kapoor will be seen in Raj And DK’s web series with Raashii Khanna.
