Kajol is one of the most popular celebrities in the entertainment industry. Fans frequently shower her with love and devotion on social media for her famous characters, cheerful personality, and status as the media’s favourite. She was recently seen out and about in the city, but her attire brought her followers back in time. The actress was clad in a white salwar suit with a crimson dupatta.

The internet quickly recognised her as Anjali from the 1998 film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. In the film, Kajol wears a similar costume when she goes home, heartbroken. The only change was that Anjali had short hair in the film, while Kajol accessorised with a black purse and Kolhapuri chappals. Netizens went to the comments sections to express how, even after so many years, the actress still reminds them of their favourite character.

In a recent interview, the actress stated that if it were up to her, her Anjali would never wear a saree. She told Humans Of Bombay, “She would wear those track pants and fab, expensive trainers with it and make that look good.” She also stated that, on a script level, she would have chosen Salman Khan’s character Aman over Shah Rukh Khan’s Rahul. Those are some of the options that many people have been loud about on social media in recent years. We would have liked to see a bold, tomboyish Anjali marrying Aman and living a happy life.

In terms of work, Kajol was most recently seen in the film Salaam Venky, co-starring Vishal Jethwa. Revathy directed the film, which was based on the true tale of Kolavennu Venkatesh and his mother, and it was released on December 9.
