Jaya and Aishwarya have a great friendship rather than the typical saas-bahu connection. There have been several occasions when Jaya has spoken about Aishwarya with love and care in their heart. Despite denying such claims, Jaya Bachchan previously discussed her connection with her bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In an interview with Reddit, Jaya stated that she does not conduct politics behind Aishwarya’s back, rather she is her ‘friend,’ and stated, “She is my pal.
I tell her directly if I don’t like something about her. I don’t engage in politics behind her back. She asserts herself when she disagrees with me. The only difference is that I can be more theatrical, while she must be more courteous. You should realise that I am elderly. That’s all there is to it.”
“We truly like being at home and chatting crap,” Jaya Bachchan continued in the interview. Only the two of us. She doesn’t have much time, but we like anything she does. “I have a wonderful relationship with her.” And their public appearances have certainly proved this.
