‘Here’s Proof’: Drashti Dhami Shuts Down Trolls For Calling Her Baby Bump Fake

Actor Drashti Dhami is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first child with husband Niraj Khemka this October. However, since announcing the joyous news on social media, Drashti has faced criticism from trolls questioning the visibility of her baby bump and even suggesting it was fake. In response, Drashti decisively silenced her detractors with a new video showcasing her baby bump.

Addressing the Haters

On Wednesday night, Drashti took to Instagram to share a video of herself proudly displaying her baby bump in a vibrant red kaftan ensemble. The expectant mother exuded elegance and grace, opting for a radiant no-makeup look and letting her natural curls flow freely.

Accompanying the video, Drashti wrote a pointed message to those questioning the authenticity of her baby bump: “Here’s proof that my baby bump is not just a big lunch. For all those asking, can you see it now?”

The video quickly garnered an outpouring of support and well-wishes from her followers. Fellow actor Mrunal Thakur commented, “Yayyyyyy cutie,” while Jankee Parekh Mehta added, “Hot mamma!”

Announcing the Pregnancy

Last month, Drashti shared a heartwarming video to announce her pregnancy. In the clip, Drashti and Niraj are seen wearing striped clothes and holding a banner that reads, “Could be Pink, Could be Blue. All we know is that we are due! October 2024.”

 

 

 

The couple is seen celebrating with family, holding glasses of drinks, which are later replaced by milk bottles by Drashti’s sister-in-law. The video ends with joyous celebrations and the caption: “In a galaxy not so far away, a tiny rebel is joining our crazy tribe. Please send love, blessings, cash & french fries our way #BabyKOnBoard We can’t wait for October 2024!”

Journey Together

Drashti and Niraj tied the knot in 2015 and participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye together. Drashti made her television debut with “Dil Mill Gaye” in 2007 and gained fame with her role in “Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi” opposite Gurmeet Chaudhary in 2010. She rose to stardom with “Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon” alongside Vivian Dsena. Recently, she appeared in the web series “The Empire” and “Duranga.”

With her latest video, Drashti Dhami has gracefully shut down her critics and continues to embrace her pregnancy journey with joy and confidence.
