It is truly said that one who is destined together will meet in some or the other way. Dimpy Ganguly had appeared on the show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and had tied the knot with Rahul Mahajan. However, in the year 2015, the two parted ways due to irreconcilable differences. After her failed marriage with Rahul, she met her childhood friend Rohit in Dubai and cupid struck. Dimpy Ganguly and Rohit Roy had tied the knot on November 27, 2015, in Kolkata. In June 2016 they were blessed with their first baby girl whom they lovingly named Reanna. And now the couple is expecting their second baby.
A while back, Dimpy posted a picture with her daughter Reanna, wherein the mother-daughter duo could be seen posing at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi. While Dimpy was all smiles for the camera her daughter tightly hugged her. In the picture, Dimpy’s pregnancy glow is pretty evident. She had captioned the picture as, “Counting and seeking blessings.”
On November 30, 2019, Dimpy took to her Instagram and shared the news of her second pregnancy with few pictures flaunting her baby bump. She had written, “Being a mother has been one of my biggest achievements and I wear it like a badge because I take my job very seriously. I am giving a shape to the future generation, and I feel responsible for it. My role as a nurturer has paid me back in ways I couldn’t even imagine. Destiny has decided to bless me yet again and I couldn’t have been more happier.”
Further elaborating on how the second trimester comes with its own pros and cons and she is struggling hard to get through it she had added, “The beginning of this pregnancy came along with various hurdles; relocation with a child, while the husband had to be away most of the time because of more responsibilities at work, hunting for a house, a nursery, a school, an ob-gyn a pediatrician, a hospital all in the first trimester with nausea like never before! But as they say fortune favors the brave, we have been fortunate enough to finally get all that we wanted because we dared to dream and only one word comes to mind – gratitude. Thankful for all the good that touch us every day! Hope we all can see and admire all that’s truly good and happy in our lives instead of focusing on what’s not. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!”
On November 27, 2019, Dimpy and her husband had completed four years of togetherness and Dimpy didn’t let go off the opportunity and penned a heartfelt note for her husband. She had written, “My world.. 4 whole years today.. and it’s growing.. I cannot thank my partner in every crime @acidxxx enough for building this along with me .. a world that I could only dream of and he turned it into reality! Here’s to all the adventures, the hard work, the trying times and the triumphant ones that we have endured TOGETHER! (With a little help from a cheering squad back in Kolkata, yes, you are the backbone to our family and without your blessings, none of this would have been possible). Love you!”
