Recently, National Award-winning filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri, busy promoting his film The Kashmir Files met Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his team. Once the pictures were shared online, netizens called it the ‘biggest promotion’ and again criticized the makers of The Kapil Sharma Show for not inviting Vivek Agnihotri to the show. Each passing day’s distress over not being invited to The Kapil Sharma Show, National Award-winning filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

A few days back, the team of The Kashmir Files got the opportunity to meet with PM Modi and they also acquired an appreciation for their new film released The Kashmir Files. The filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had retweeted pictures of The Kashmir Files team with PM Modi and written, “I am so glad for you @AbhishekOfficl you have shown the courage to produce the most challenging truth of Bharat. #TheKashmirFiles screenings in the USA proved the changing mood of the world in the leadership of @narendramodi.”

Hours later the pictures were shared on the internet, the hashtag ‘#BycottKapilSharmaShow’ again reached Twitter’s trending tab as netizens criticized the makers of the show. Numerous users shared the pictures and shouted out the makers of The Kapil Sharma Show. A user tweeted, “Yes friends, this is the same movie that Kapil Sharma refused to appear in his show, this is the one that was praised by the Prime Minister, Hon’ble Narendra Modi.”

Another one wrote, “WOW! Do h**l with @KapilSharmaK9 Here’s The biggest promotion of #TheKashmirFiles” Tagging the comedian Kapil Sharma, a user tweeted, “I love your show but you didn’t promote the best films. So I will not watch your show ever.” Now, the director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri had shared a post on his Twitter to express sadness after his movie The Kashmir Files’ team was not invited to The Kapil Sharma Show. “They refused to call us on their show because we don’t have a big commercial star,” he had tweeted.

Kapil Sharma was criticized brutally, the comedian had issued an explanation. “Yeh sach nahi hai Rathore sahab aapne pucha isliye bata diya, baaki jinhone sach maan hi liya unko explanation dene ka kya fayada. (“This is not true Rathore sir you asked that’s why told you, rest what is the point of giving explanation to those who have accepted the truth) Just a suggestion as an experienced social media user – never believe in the one-sided story in today’s social media world,” read his tweet.
