Yesterday was not just another day for Virat and Anushka as it was the birthday of their little one Vamika. The couple is currently in South Africa on a cricket tour and both celebrated their daughter’s first birthday together. Vamika was born on 11th January 2021 last year and has now turned a year old. Last year, Virat had flown down to India to be with his wife Anushka and witness the birth of their first child. Both were blessed with a baby girl and both named her Vamika which is also the name of goddess Durga.
Anushka Sharma, took to her Instagram handle to share glimpses of their daughter’s birthday celebrations. In the photos, Anushka could be seen twinning in white with her little princess Vamika, who was having a great time. Mommy Anushka could be seen holding Vamika in her arms and smiling her heart out. In another picture shared by the actress, daddy Virat Kohli could be seen wearing a black T-shirt and holding a glass of champagne. The duo was holding the glasses and enjoying the time together and celebrating parenthood.
While sharing the series of pictures Anushka wrote, “The sun with bright, the light beautiful, the table full and just like that our little girl turned ONE!”
Anushka added, “The evening was made extra special with the warmest people. And here, I was worried about her first birthday being in a bubble! Thank you, guys!! (You know who you are).” Wriddhiman Saha’s wife Romi Mitra also shared a couple of photos and videos where her kids were seen enjoying themselves on a rooftop with a huge ‘Vamika’ balloon in the background.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka has announced her next film ‘Chakda Express’ which is based on the real-life of female cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
