Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed their first child on July 16, 2024, marking a significant milestone in their lives. The birth of their baby has been a source of great joy for the couple. For Richa Chadha, this new chapter has also led to a meaningful personal transformation. Embracing the role of a mother, she made the decision to pause her career and dedicate time to fully engage in motherhood.

In a recent interview, Richa discussed the changes she encountered after becoming a mother. She reflected on how this experience has shifted her perspective on life, altered her priorities, and influenced her career decisions. “Becoming a mother changed me in ways I never imagined,” she said. “It made me more patient, more grounded, and more aware of what truly matters. I wanted to be fully present for my child, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally.”

Richa said that taking a break from the spotlight was an easy choice for her. She wanted to create a calm and loving space for her baby, which needed her full attention and presence. “There’s so much pressure in our industry to get back to work quickly, but I didn’t want to rush anything. This time with my child is precious, and I didn’t want to miss a single moment.”

She also discussed how becoming a mother transformed her identity and impacted her future decisions. “I’m no longer chasing the same things I once did. My goals have changed. I want to work on projects that align with who I am now, as an artist, a woman, and a mother.” As Richa gets ready to make her comeback, she brings along a greater sense of determination and a discovered resilience. “Motherhood didn’t just change me, it made me more,” she said with a smile.

Richa Chadha said THIS about motherhood

Richa Chadha explained why she took a hiatus after becoming a mother in an interview with Hindustan Times. She revealed, “I don’t think that I’ve changed much because I’m a mom, and even if I have, it has been for the better.” Richa further shared, “I very consciously chose to take this break, not because I am old school in that way, but because as mammals, the role of the mother in the first few months is very critical for the baby.”

With her daughter Zuneyra being eight months old, the actress has definitely started looking for a job. She had been concentrating only on her and Ali’s production company up until this point, which would help their business grow.
