The most awaited movie of Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Pathaan, is due to open in theatres tomorrow, January 25, 2023. For the Unversed, this would also be his return to the big screen after taking a break after his 2018 movie, Zero. According to rumours, SRK’s forthcoming movie Pathaan has already authorised the sale of Rs. 2.75 lakh tickets by January 23, 2023. Some online users also teased the actor with his female avatar while his millions of admirers wait impatiently to see him on film once more. But SRK also provided a pertinent response, which is simply impossible to overlook.
On January 24, 2023, Shah Rukh Khan posted a thank-you message to all the people who contributed to the making of his upcoming film, Pathaan, on his Twitter account. In addition to thanking everyone involved with the movie, he held a #AskSRK session for his followers on the microblogging platform. After almost 5 years, his supporters soon flooded him with love and excitement to see him back on film. His tweet reads as follows: “A big hug to all for making #Pathaan so loved. Those who danced, put up cut outs, bought out halls, all fan clubs, made t shirts, prayed, helped to ease issues & made it a festival. It’s good to be in theatres, it feels like home. A quick #AskSRK for fun.”
As soon as he tweeted his most recent article, a netizen tromped him by making fun of his female avatar from one of his appearances on an awards programme. In the image, SRK could be seen sporting a pink lehenga-choli, along with golden accessories and a long, middle-parted hairdo. The troll who shared it referred to it as “Femme fatale” and included laughing emojis. Soon after, SRK reposted it and responded appropriately, saying that he is gorgeous in all of his personas. He stated in his writing: “Arre no no this is me dressed as a lady. I know I am attractive in all avatars, but u will have to find yourself a better muse my friend!! Apologies for misleading you.”
The production company for the movie Pathaan, Yash Raj Films, cropped Shah Rukh Khan’s picture from the original post. One of the film’s starring ladies, Deepika Padukone, was seen in the post discussing the movie and her own experience. The YRF website had shared it and stated:
