The duo was one of the most loved and adored couples in the entertainment industry, the fans and followers used to look up to the bonding Sam and Chay used to share with each other. The couple had tied the knot after dating eachother for a long time, yet things didn’t work out for them.
After getting married at a dreamy wedding the couple announced their divorce after four years of being together. The rumours about their marriage hitting the rough patch had begun much earlier when the stars finally announced it on their social media handles.
Post the divorce there were many rumours and reports targeting Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The reports accused Samantha of cheating, extorting money, abortion and many others. However, Naga Chaitanya refrained from commenting on any of it. But, in a video that is going viral on the internet, Naga Chaitanya could be seen addressing the question related to his divorce.

Chaitanya could be head saying that if ‘she’ (Samantha) is happy, then he is happy. He further added that it (divorce) was the best decision. “It is ok to be separated. That is a mutual decision made for their individual happiness. If she is happy, then I am happy. So divorce is the best decision in such a situation,” he said in Telugu, as translated by Hindustan Times.
Meanwhile, the reason behind Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s divorce has still not been disclosed. But, according to a Bollywoodlife’s report, Chaitanya’s family was not very happy with Samantha’s bold scenes and items songs post marriage. The friction between the family and Samantha’s choices led to divorce.
