90’s Bollywood Theme Birthday Party: From DDLJ To K2H2, Here Is Who Wore What!
Bollywood: A crazy industry with glitz, fame, money and glamour. It has everything from dramas to divorces, from late night club parties to festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi. Bollywood is one big thing and not everyone can enter it easily. Recently, Filmmaker & Producer Amritpal Singh Bindra celebrated his birthday and bought many Bollywood stars in one roof that too in different avrats.
He threw a 90’s Bollywood themed bash and many celebs graced the party. They were seen dressed in their best from that era. As Janhvi Kapoor pulled off her late mother Sridevi’s yellow chiffon saree look, Shweta Bachchan & Sidharth Malhotra opted for Amitabh Bachchan’s look in Jumma Chumma song. Everyone’s favourite ace designer, Manish Malhotra shared many pics on his Instagram story. Here are the pictures of who wore what:
Neha Dhupia was seen dressed as Simran of DDLJ while her husband as Raj(naam toh suna hi hoga). The birthday boy, Amritpal Singh Bindra was wearing the colourful shirts that trended in the 90’s. He was probably dressed as that kid who counts stars and says to Anjali: “Tussi jarahe ho? Tussi na jao!” in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
While Katrina was all decked up in an orange attire, Janhvi Kapoor reminded everyone of her mother, Sridevi in yellow chiffon saree and completed her look with the yellow matching bangles.
Shweta Bachchan & Sidharth Malhotra were dressed as Big B in the famous song Jumma Chumma Dede from the movie Hum, and they totally rocked it in black coats and white shirt complete with the red dupatta around their necks.
Neha Dhupia & Angad Bedi looked lovely as they depicted: Simran and Raj from iconic film of SRK & Kajol in the film “DDLJ”. The love birds made us awestruck. As Neha wore green lehenga, Angad was seen in white kurta and dhoti.
Kiara Advani was dressed as Madhuri Dixit from Dil Toh Pagal Hai.
And the highlight of the evening was Karan Johar, Gauri Khan & Kajal Anand who dressed up like the adorable cast of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Gauri looked just like Tina in her short purple dress while Karan looked just like Rahul in his loose T-Shirt and jeans. And accompanying them was Kajal who looked like Anjali in red coloured dungarees.
