Dharmendra, a legendary figure in Indian cinema, is celebrated for his charismatic presence and versatile acting. Sunny Deol’s Revealation

During a recent appearance on The Ranveer Show, Sunny Deol shared a candid childhood memory. He recalled an incident from his youth when Dharmendra’s mother had a servant scold him for losing his temper and using harsh words. Sunny also fondly reminisced about his upbringing, mentioning that he had lived with his grandmother, who had a significant and positive impact on his life.

Sunny, known for his role in Gadar 2, shared that, like many Indian children, he too received some scoldings and even a few spankings from his mother during his mischievous days.

Dharmendra Abused Househelp

On the podcast, Sunny Revealed that his father once said something wrong and abusive to a househelp. He further added that his grandmother then called the househelp and asked to abuse Dharmendra.

When asked if he ever faced similar discipline from his father, Dharmendra, Sunny humorously recounted an incident when his father slapped him. He jokingly described it as three fingers stamped on his face, emphasizing his younger self’s smaller face. Sunny admitted to getting into some mischief as a child, and on one such occasion, his father caught him, leading to the mentioned slap. However, he noted that Dharmendra was deeply apologetic afterwards.

Dharmendra was last seen in the movie “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,” featuring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol’s recent release, Gadar 2, has been making waves in the film industry. The movie is currently in fierce competition with Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” for the title of the highest-grossing film of 2023. Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 hit theatres last month and is steadily approaching the remarkable milestone of ₹500 crores in domestic box office collections.
