The popular film director Vikram Bhatt was asked if he would like to work with Kangana Ranaut, he had a very valid response.
During a live session with NBT.com, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt voiced his opinion about the controversies surrounding actress Kangana Ranaut. Vikram Bhatt also praised Kangan Ranaut’s acting and stated that she has all the rights to voice her opinions and She must be ready for responses to her opinions as well. During the same session, the filmmaker was asked about whether he interacted with Kangana when she worked with Mahesh Bhatt. To which Vikram Bhatt said, “I did not work with Mahesh Bhatt Sahab for a few years because of mutual differences. I returned to the Bhatt camp around the same time Kangana acted in several movies of Vishesh Films like Gangster, Who Lamhe among others. So, I have no idea how Kangana was when she worked with Vishesh Films.”
While praising Kangana’s acting skills and answering to a question on who will work with Kangana Ranaut after all the controversies, Vikram Bhatt said, “Kangana can make her own films. I don’t think Kangana has ever worked in a Yash Raj Films film. I guess she worked in a film with Karan Johar but now neither she will work with him nor will Karan work with her. However, she will get work and it’s not like she will completely be boycotted.”
He further added, “There are some people who keep their thoughts to themselves, do not tell anyone. On the other hand, some people are vocal about their opinions and Kangana is among them. This is independent India. How can someone be stopped from saying what they want to? But definitely, if you annoy someone, they will react to it and one should be prepared to face the reactions and the consequences. If you throw a loose ball then someone will definitely hit a six. If you make political statements then people will also play politics with you.”
When asked about whether he would work with Kangana in the future, he said, “Kangana now directs films herself. I will not say that I won’t work with her but what I will do? If I work with her, then I have to give the clap during the shoot and work as a clapper boy because Kangana writes the story herself and also directs the films herself.”
