Taapsee Pannu Rebuts At Public For Not Knowing Her Husband Mathias Boe: ‘I Feel Sad For…’

Leaked Wedding Video: Taapsee Pannu Dances Towards Groom Mathias Boe in Joyful Celebration

Celebrated actress Taapsee Pannu, known for her roles in films like Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, tied the knot with Danish badminton player Mathias Boe in an intimate ceremony. The couple, who had been in a long-term relationship, chose to celebrate their union privately, away from the public eye.

In a recent interview with Fever FM, Pannu shared insights into her decision to keep the wedding low-key. When asked about her marriage, Pannu emphasised her desire for independence within her relationship. “I’m my own person. He is his own person. I can be haseen for 1.4 billion people, and he can be a kicka** athlete for the whole world. We have just decided to have a great party and celebrate our relationship,” she stated.

Taapsee Pannu revealed that their wedding was attended by 100-125 guests, comprising close friends and family from both Denmark and India. She expressed her belief that marriage is a deeply personal event, and thus chose to limit the guest list to those who have been a part of their lives for the past decade. “It just so happened because I chose to involve only those people who knew us directly,” she explained.

Addressing the curiosity about her husband, Pannu commented on the public’s lack of awareness about Boe. “I feel sad for those people who don’t know who this guy is. He is probably one of the biggest achievers in badminton in the world and is responsible for where our men’s badminton doubles have reached,” she said. Pannu also mentioned that this lack of recognition was a factor in her decision to keep their relationship private. “It wasn’t like I hid his face and took him inside or brought him out in public,” she joked.

Pannu concluded by expressing that her personal life remains separate from her professional life. Her latest film, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, co-starring Sunny Kaushal and Vikrant Massey, is set to stream on Netflix starting August 9, 2024.
