Following a discreet ring exchange on August 8, 2024, the couple, who had meticulously kept their relationship out of the spotlight, decided to formally announce their commitment. Sobhita now revealed a few tidbits about the couples’ first Pongal feast.
Sobhita Dhulipala looks stun in red saree for Pongal celebration
Sobhita took to Instagram to share photos of her first Pongal celebration with her husband, Naga Chaitanya. On one slide, the couple was seen savouring the delicious food, while on another, she posted a picture of a bonfire with the words, “Bhogi, renewal, transformation.” She then wished her fans well and shared a picture of a rangoli with some marigold petals, which we believe she may have made.
Sobhita wore a simple red saree with a golden border for the day. She accessorised her ensemble with red bangles and gold earrings and wore it with a beige top. She wore a bindi, put her hair up in a bun, and applied light makeup to round off her appearance. Alongside a rangoli poster, Sobhita also posted a picture of her and Chay’s feet. The two also savoured delicious meals prepared for the occasion.

She acknowledged the cultural significance of the occasion by wearing the same golden blouse for her engagement.
