‘Sidharth Malhotra’s Life In Danger’: How Actor’s Devout Fan Duped Rs 50 Lakh By Blackmailing
A devoted fan of Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has alleged that they were blackmailed and swindled out of ₹50 lakh by administrators of one of the actor’s fan pages. The victim, Minoo Vasudevan from the USA, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share the ordeal, revealing the series of events and conversations with the culprits.
In a detailed thread, Minoo (@desi_girl334) exposed the scam orchestrated by fan page admins Aliza and Husna Parveen of @sidmalhotra.updates. According to Minoo, the deception spanned from October to December 2023. Additionally, Minoo disclosed that a friend in the UK, Maariya, was also defrauded of ₹10.5K during this period. Although some evidence has been deleted, Minoo claimed to possess crucial chats as proof.
Minoo’s Tweets Revealed The scam
Minoo’s tweets revealed a web of fabricated stories designed to extort money. Aliza allegedly concocted tales about Sidharth Malhotra being endangered by his wife, actress Kiara Advani. These fabrications included accusations of Kiara forcing Sidharth into marriage under duress, exploiting him financially, and involving prominent Bollywood figures like Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan in a conspiracy against him.

One tweet stated, “Aliza told me fake stories: Sid’s life was in danger because of Kiara. She forced him to marry her by threatening to kill his family after he rejected her sexual advances during Shershaah. Also, she exploited him physically, sexually, & financially along with her goons, Karan Johar, Shashank Khaitan, Apoorva Mehta & Manish Malhotra. Additionally, she cheated on him with them & all her other co-stars & did black magic on him.”
The tweets further detailed how Aliza manipulated Minoo into believing that Kiara and the Dharma Productions crew had seized control of Sidharth’s finances, coercing him into revealing his bank details. Aliza then introduced Minoo to a supposed PR team member, Deepak Dubey (@magical_master_of_mumbai), and an informer within Kiara’s team, Radhika (@sidharthdefender). These individuals purportedly provided inside information on Sidharth and Kiara’s activities, for which Minoo paid weekly fees.
“I paid them weekly charges to get inside info & speak with Sid. Also, I bought Sid 3 gift hampers, which I found out were photoshopped. Apart from this, expenses were made to save Sid from death or torture. All this led to a loss of 50 lakhs,” Minoo tweeted, emphasizing the extent of the financial exploitation.

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, who tied the knot on February 7, 2023, in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, have not yet commented on the incident. The couple, celebrated for their roles in the 2021 film Shershaah, directed by Vishnuvardhan, continue to enjoy a strong fan following.
