Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again made headlines, but this time, it’s not for his film projects or his charismatic persona. The 58-year-old actor, who commands one of the largest fan bases in India, sparked concern among fans after a video showing him struggling with breathing went viral on social media.
In the footage, taken at a recent event, Salman Khan can be seen posing for paparazzi while visibly uncomfortable. Dressed in a black pantsuit paired with a blue shirt, the actor maintained his signature dapper look, but fans quickly noticed something was amiss. Rib Injury Raises Alarm
Reports suggest Salman Khan has been dealing with the aftermath of a rib injury, which he sustained just a month ago. At that time, the actor made a public appearance at the Bacche Bole Morya event in Mumbai, despite being hurt earlier the same day. Videos from that event showed him wincing in pain and repeatedly touching his injured ribs. His discomfort was apparent, particularly when trying to sit or stand, further fueling concern over his well-being.
Amruta Fadnavis, the event organiser, acknowledged Salman’s condition during the event, praising his dedication. “Today he got hurt, he is not well, still he came. It shows his commitment towards the environment,” she remarked.
While the actor continues to recover, reports confirm that the injury has slowed him down. Fans have expressed their worries on social media, urging him to prioritise his health.
On the Professional Front
Despite his health struggles, Salman Khan remains busy with work. His debut film as a lead actor, Maine Pyaar Kiya, was re-released in theaters on August 23, reigniting nostalgia among fans. Additionally, the actor is working on multiple projects, including the upcoming action film *Sikandar*, directed by AR Murugadoss, where he stars alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Filming for the movie began in mid-June.
Salman is also set to return to the small screen as the host of Bigg Boss season 18, which is scheduled to air in October.
Fans hope the actor takes time to fully heal while balancing his demanding schedule.
