In a candid discussion on the ANI Podcast, Chirag Paswan, the politician and actor, opened up about his Mile Na Mile Hum co-star Kangana Ranaut. He highlighted her tendency to often be politically incorrect, yet acknowledged this as her unique selling point (USP).

Chirag’s Take on Kangana’s Political Savvy

When presented with a photograph of Kangana, Chirag referred to her as a “good friend”. He was asked whether Kangana could make a significant impact as a Member of Parliament (MP). Chirag responded, “One thing I know for sure is that most of the time she isn’t politically correct but that’s her USP. She knows what to say and when.”

He further elaborated, “She knows kya bolna hai kab bolna hai. Ab woh politically correct ho, nahi ho woh debatable ho sakta hai (She knows what to speak and when to speak. But whether it is politically correct or not could be debatable).”

Meeting Outside Parliament

In June, a photo of Kangana and Chirag sharing a candid moment outside Parliament went viral on social media. Chirag recalled this encounter during the podcast, expressing his anticipation to meet her in Parliament. He noted that due to his busy schedule in recent times, he had lost touch with many, including Kangana.

Kangana Needs No Tips

When asked if he would offer any advice to Kangana regarding her speeches, Chirag laughed and said she doesn’t need any tips. In June, Kangana won the seat from the Mandi constituency of Himachal Pradesh, marking her debut as a BJP parliamentarian. She defeated Congress’ Vikramaditya Singh in the Lok Sabha elections.

Their Film Collaboration

Kangana and Chirag co-starred in the 2011 film Mile Na Mile Hum, directed by Tanveer Khan. This film marked Chirag’s debut in Bollywood. The cast also included Neeru Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge. Following his stint in the film industry, Chirag transitioned into politics.

Kangana’s Upcoming Project
