Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut recently took a trip down memory lane, sharing a nostalgic clip from the music launch of her 2006 film Woh Lamhe. The video, which Kangana posted on her social media platforms, shows her as a young starlet, dressed in a white outfit and smiling for the cameras alongside the film’s team. The footage captures Kangana looking both excited and serious before the event officially kicked off.

In a heartfelt note accompanying the video on X (formerly Twitter), Kangana reflected on her younger self and the insecurities she once harbored about her appearance.

“This is a video from my second film Woh Lamhe music launch. I was just a teenager and, like every young woman, I disliked everything about my appearance,” she wrote. “No young woman thinks she’s attractive or beautiful, which probably makes them more vulnerable, innocent, and approachable. Even on stage, I look unsure of myself, but today I’d give anything to look like I did back then.”

Kangana went on to express how she now appreciates the vitality and energy she possessed during her early years in the industry. “It’s not just the looks, but the natural vitality, agility, and overall energy I didn’t appreciate at the time,” she added.

The Queen actress used the moment to send an empowering message to women, urging them to embrace their beauty at every stage of life.

“My message to all the ladies out there: today is the youngest you’ll ever be. Every age and stage is beautiful, so learn to be kind to yourself. Even if you can’t find beauty in your reflection now, when you look back, you’ll see it. Trust that you are beautiful today,” she concluded, adding a red heart emoji.

Kangana shared a similar message on her Instagram Stories, acknowledging the video had been sent to her by a fan. She playfully remarked on how unbelievable it felt to recall her insecurities as a teenager, now wishing she could look like her younger self once again.
