Famous Tv actress Kamya Panjabi is feeling low as she remembers her close friend Pratyusha Banerjee. The actress took to her social media handle and posted a video of Pratyusha in which she could be seen dancing. Kamya shared the video and wrote, “Yaadein… life is so short, unpredictable… gussa, shikayatein sab yahin reh jaani hai bas yaadein yaad aani hai,” the caption read.
Kamya and Pratyusha became close friends during their stay in Bigg Boss house. For those who don’t know, Pratyusha became a household name after playing Anandi in famous tv show Ballika Vadhu. The actress died by suicide on 1st April, 2016, the body of the actress was found at her apartment. In the postmortem reports the reason for the actress’s death was asphyxia.

However, the actress’s death created a lot of controversies and the parents of Pratyusha accused her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh of their daughter’s murder. After the actress’s death, another actor Vikas Gupta claimed that he was in a relationship with the actress for a short period of time. Although, the claims made by Vikas Gupta were quashed by Kamya saying that Pratyusha is not here now why is Vikas talking about it now?
Pratyusha’s co-star in Ballika Vadhu Siddharth Shukla also died due to a heart attack on 2nd September 2021. The parents of the actress had revealed that Siddharth had helped them a lot and supported them emotionally. The actor stood by them like rock in their difficult time and stayed in touch after Pratyusha passed away.
