Neha Kakkar who is one of the best playback singers of this generation and also one of the judges of Indian Idol 12, started her journey with the same show. She participated in the second season of the show but her stint had not lasted for long and she was evicted from the show early. Years later, Neha Kakkar rose to fame after her song “second-hand jawaani” from Cocktail became a hit. Since then there was no looking back for this talented singer.
Now a throwback video from her Indian Idol days has been doing rounds on social media. In the viral clip, Neha is seen signing Aisa Lagta Hai from Refugee with co-contestant but judges seemed to be really disappointed with her performance. Anu Malik who was judging the show along with Farah Khan and Sonu Nigam went on to say,“Neha Kakkar… Teri awaaz sun kar lagta hai main apne mooh par maaroon thappad, yaar! Kya ho gaya hai tere ko”.
