Fawad Khan, renowned for his role in Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai, recently commented on one of 2023’s blockbuster Hindi films, “Animal”. In a conversation with Pinkvilla, the Pakistani actor was questioned about his thoughts on the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer, which also featured Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Fawad Khan shared, “Maine nahi dekhi hai abhi, aur mai dekhna chahta hu, Netflix pe aagai hai lekin muje dekhne ka mauka nai mila, and everyone has been recommending (I haven’t seen it yet, but I want to. It’s on Netflix now, but I haven’t had the chance to watch it. Everyone has been recommending it).”
Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with Shashanka Ghosh’s “Khoobsurat”, starring alongside Sonam Kapoor. He subsequently appeared in Shakun Batra’s “Kapoor And Sons”, featuring Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, and Ratna Pathak Shah. Following the 2016 Uri attack and the subsequent ban on Pakistani artists in India, Fawad stepped away from Bollywood.
The acclaimed actor is set to return to the Indian entertainment scene with his upcoming series “Barzakh”, slated for release on Zee5. Reports suggest that Fawad is poised to make a significant Bollywood comeback nearly eight years after his last appearance in “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” (2016), which also included a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.
Fawad Khan is rumored to star opposite Vaani Kapoor in an upcoming project. Although details remain under wraps, the producers plan to announce the project shortly before filming begins in the UK. Aarti Bagdi has been confirmed as the director for this highly anticipated venture.
Fans eagerly await Fawad Khan’s return to Bollywood, hoping to see more of his captivating performances that have garnered widespread acclaim and admiration.
