Brad Pitt Has ‘Virtually No Contact’ With Older Kids, ‘Limited’ Connection With Younger Ones: Report

Brad Pitt frequently visits his younger children but has “virtually no contact” with his adult kids, as reported by People magazine. The children primarily live with their mother, Angelina Jolie, although the custody agreement permits Pitt to see the younger ones. Recently, their daughter Shiloh made headlines by legally dropping her father’s surname, ‘Pitt,’ from her name.

The exclusive report by People detailed that Pitt’s visits with his minor children have become limited due to his busy filming schedule for his upcoming movie, F1. A source mentioned, “He has virtually no contact with the adult kids. His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule.” The 60-year-old actor is currently on location shooting for the film.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt share six children: Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax, and twins Knox and Vivienne. The couple, who married in 2014, separated in 2019. Currently, Pitt is dating Ines de Ramon, while Jolie is not known to be dating anyone.

Shiloh around her 18th birthday, legally dropped ‘Pitt’ from her name, opting to go by Shiloh Jolie. According to sources, Pitt is “aware and upset” about Shiloh’s decision. Back in June, a source stated, “He’s aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name. The reminders that he’s lost his children are, of course, not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.”

Shiloh is not alone in this decision. Pitt’s youngest daughter, Vivienne, appears to be following a similar path. In the Playbill of the Oscar-winning musical “The Outsider,” which she helped produce with her mother, she is listed as Vivienne Jolie instead of Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. It remains unclear if she has legally changed her name.

The evolving dynamics between Pitt and his children highlight the ongoing complexities in his relationship with them, particularly as they grow older and make independent decisions about their identities.
