One of the most controversial shows on Indian television, Bigg Boss is all set to make a comeback with its much-awaited fifteenth season. It is just a few days away and speculation around its final list of contestants is at an all-time high. And if reports are to be believed the makers have approached Rhea Chakraborty for the 15th season of Bigg Boss.
As per a report in Bollywood Life, Bigg Boss 15 updates, the makers have offered a whopping Rs 35 lakhs a week, which is by far the highest ever offered to a celebrity to be on Salman Khan’s show. Even if she manages to stick inside the house for two weeks she will make Rs 70 lakhs. The makers are in constant discussion with the actress regarding the same and the final decision is expected today.
Talking about the highest-paid contestants in the history of Bigg Boss, Rimi Sen was one of the highest-paid contestants who got Rs 2.25 crores for the show. The actress had said that she took up the show because it was impossible otherwise to make so much money in such a short span of time. Last year, Sidharth Shukla was paid Rs 35-40 lakhs for a two-week stay in the house. During his stint at Bigg Boss 13, he was paid Rs 18-20 lakhs per week as per sources while Rashmi Desai was the highest-paid who bagged Rs 21 lakh per week.
The past year has been really challenging for Rhea Chakraborty after the demise of her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput as she was accused by his family of financial fraud and isolating the actor from his near and dear ones. But now the actress is hellbent on getting her life back on track.
