Anushka Sharma is back at her game after taking a long break. The actress had announced her pregnancy during the first lockdown. After giving birth to her adorable daughter Vamika in January 2021, Anushka Sharma has finally announced her next film project.
Anushka took to her Instagram handle to share pictures from her prep work for her film Chakda Express. The movie will be a biopic of female cricketer Jhulan Goswami who is a known fast bowler in the Indian cricket team. The actress shared a picture in which she could be seen holding a bowl and in the next, she could be seen practicing and honing bowling skills. While sharing her picture Anushka wrote, “Grip by Grip Prep #ChakdaXpress.”
Anushka Sharma today is one of the most bankable superstars in the Bollywood Industry. The fans and followers of the actress are more than happy to see her back on screen. “Can’t wait to see you back,” wrote one user. “You will rock it once again,” wrote another user.

Anushka Sharma’s last film was ‘Zero’ along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film did not work well at the box office but the audience loved her performance in the film. Recently, the actress shared a video of a man who rescued a dog on street. The actress is a huge animal lover and applauded the man for what he did. She took to her Instagram handle and shared a story and wrote, “Pagal toh vo hain jo insaniyat nahi samjhein. Aap toh..,” and shared clapping emoticons.
Anushka will be essaying the role of Jhulan Goswami in Chakda Express, and the movie is based on the former Indian captain’s life.
