The Internet can be a boon as well as a bane. For Ranu Mondal, it acted as both. She became an overnight internet sensation with the song that went viral on the internet. She was even signed up for a Music album by the singer Himesh Reshammiya. However, she faced the ugly side of being too famous as well too quickly. She had two incidents that not just made her the butt of internet jokes and memes but also got her a lot of hate.
At a recent event, Himesh was asked by the media about Ranu Mondal Behaviour to which he replied and said that he is no the right person to answer and this should be asked to Ranuji. According to a report published in ETimes, Himesha was quoted saying, “I think the right person to answer this question will be Ranuji. She would know the back story as to why she did this. How can I answer on her behalf, it is not right. I have given a break to a lot of people but if something happens in their life, I cannot answer that.”
Himesh Reshammiya released yet another song with Ranu Mondal. The song is called Aashiqui 2.0 and is a remake of his song Aashiqui Mein Teri from Shahid Kapoor and Kareeena Kapoor Khan’s film 36 China Town. Ranu mondal had also recently been subjected to brutal trolling on social media after a picture of her with OTT makeup went viral.
