Shilpa Shetty, the renowned Bollywood actress, is currently in the spotlight as she promotes her forthcoming family drama, “Sukhee.” The year 1993 marked her entry into showbiz with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer, “Baazigar,” propelling her into Bollywood stardom during the ’90s. In a recent interview, Shilpa Shetty expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Shah Rukh Khan for his immense support and patience during their time together on set.

During the interview, Shilpa Shetty candidly shared her experience of working with the King of Bollywood. She fondly recalled, “I had a lot of Sukhee moments because I was a newcomer. Shah Rukh helped me a lot with utmost patience.”

Shilpa Shetty, at the outset of her career, faced challenges with Hindi fluency and acting skills. She confessed, “Kyunki na mujhe Hindi aati thi na acting. Toh maine jo bhi seekha us process mai Shah Rukh se bahut kuch seekhne ko mila mujhe kyunki he was a theatre actor. Camera ko face kaise karna, aur jis patience ke sath unhone mujhe scenes mai help kiya voh bahut hi sukhee moments rahe hai mere liye (Neither I could speak Hindi nor I was a good actor. So during that process, I learned a lot from Shah Rukh Khan. He taught me how to face the camera. And, the patience with which he helped me was my sukhee moment).”
Shilpa Shetty also touched upon her experiences working with Salman Khan, highlighting that only those who have worked with him can truly comprehend his personality.
In terms of her upcoming projects, Shilpa Shetty is gearing up for the release of “Sukhee,” a family drama slated for September 22, 2023. Additionally, she is set to star in Rohit Shetty’s “Indian Police Force” as a female police officer, sharing the screen with Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles. Furthermore, she will make her return to Kannada cinema with Dhruva Sarja’s upcoming film, “KD” (also known as “KingDom”), marking her comeback after an 18-year hiatus.
