Rupali Ganguly who is currently riding high on the success of her daily soap “Anupama” welcomed a new member in their family. Rupali and her husband Ashwin K Verma bought themselves a brand new SUV Mahindra Thar worth a whopping 14 lakhs. The actress couldn’t contain her excitement and shared a picture of their swanky humongous car and also emphasized the importance of promoting Indian brands. Sharing the picture she had captioned it as, “The Tall and the Short of it! Be Indian Buy Indian, Support Indian!”

Mithun Chakraborty, father-in-law of Madalsa Sharma who plays the role of antagonist Kavya on the show recently made a surprise visit on the show. An elated Rupali shared a heartfelt note on meeting her “original superstar”. She wrote, “When Happy memories come visiting The first time I ever faced the camera was with him when I was 4 yrs old My first Hindi film as a heroine was with him … (set par Pappa aur inse bohot daant padti this!)”
