Fashion designer Manish Malhotra held his annual Diwali party on Tuesday night, drawing a glittering array of Bollywood stars, including the enchanting Shraddha Kapoor. The actress captivated attendees in a stunning silver tissue saree, complemented by a chic heart-shaped purse, making her one of the evening’s highlights.

As the night progressed, Shraddha attempted to make a discreet exit from the bustling party but was quickly surrounded by a throng of paparazzi. In a clever move to divert the photographers’ attention, she pointed in the opposite direction and mentioned Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s name, hoping the commotion would allow her to slip away unnoticed. However, her plan backfired when she accidentally approached the wrong vehicle and tried to shift the focus by mentioning Salman Khan. The persistent paparazzi, however, remained unfazed, quickly pointing out that Salman was not present at the event.

Accompanying Shraddha was Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, who joined her in navigating the crowd of photographers.

Work-Front

On the professional front, Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Stree 2, which also featured Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is the sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy hit Stree. Following the success of the first two films, the creators are now gearing up for a third instalment. At a recent media event, Shraddha confirmed that Stree 3 is in the works, expressing excitement about the story that director Amar Kaushik has prepared. “When Amar sir told me he had a story for Stree 3, I got very excited because I know it’s going to be something amazing. I can’t wait to hear what it’s about,” she shared.

Reflecting on the success of the previous films, Shraddha praised the team’s effort in crafting a compelling sequel. “The kind of love and accolades the first part received were immense. It all started there. Hats off to the director, writer, and producer for cracking a sequel. It’s important not to make a sequel just for the sake of it—you need substance to bring people to theaters and earn genuine appreciation,” she stated. “I believe it was a fabulous team effort. It was pure cinematic joy.”

In addition to the Stree franchise, Shraddha is also expected to feature in a dance number for Pushpa 2: The Rule, further solidifying her presence in the industry.
