A new mom in the tinsel town, Sonam Kapoor celebrated Karwa Chauth with full zeal and enthusiasm. The actress didn’t keep any fast for her husband as she recently gave birth to her child but participated in all the festivities. She even posted pictures of herself dolled up in a red and green traditional dress, a beautiful lehenga. The diva made sure of capturing all the moments from the occasion including the one of her getting ready and breastfeeding her son.
The new mommy with her video also broke the taboos associated with breastfeeding in public. The ‘Neerja’ actress didn’t shy away from sharing glimpses of herself feeding her baby. In the video clip dropped by Sonam, she could be seen surrounded by her hair and makeup team. Meanwhile, she’s holding Vayu in her arms and feeding her as her team works on her makeup and hair.
The actress shared the video and mentioned in the caption about getting back to the “real world” with her team. The actress got ready and met people after a long time, she wrote “love being back in my home ground. Love you #Mumbai with all your scars and cracks you’re magic.”

Sonam also revealed the reason behind not keeping a fast. She said that her husband is not a fan of fasting but they both believe in festivals and celebrations a reason for the family to come together. Sonam’s mother like every year kept a special puja at her place and invited many celebrities from the industry. Sonam joined all the other actresses like Shilpa Shetty and Raveena Tondon at the Karwa Chauth celebrations.
