Sonali Bendre is a timeless beauty who needs no heavy makeup or hair to look beautiful, in fact, she is the one who can make her old wardrobe look brand new. The diva for her Karwa Chauth didn’t invest in any new designer outfit but chose to walk down memory lane with her wedding lehenga. Sonali Bendre took to her Instagram handle to share the pictures of her wedding lehenga which was designed by Manish Malhotra 19-years-ago.

The ‘Sarfarosh’ actress looked hands down gorgeous in her beautiful mix of peach and lavender lehenga, which she paired up with her mangal sutra. The actress had tied the knot with director Goldie Behl on November 12th, 2002. Explaining her way of celebrating Karwa Chauth, Sonali took her Instagram handle and posted beautiful pictures with a heartwarming caption. “I have always believed that traditions are what you make of them… to me they are a bridge between the past, present and future. I respect where they came from but never hesitated to give it my own meaning. Karwa Chauth is one such festival… to me, it has always been a celebration of family and friends that are family.”

Sonali continued further and wrote, “A day spent in rituals with the people you love. The fact that I get pampered by my husband is a bonus. It’s a celebration of togetherness and companionship, cementing the love we share with our husbands and the bond between our family and friends. Fun fact… I’m wearing my wedding lehenga from 19 years ago by Manish Malhotra and have paired it with this beautiful mangalsutra from Bulgari. Then and now, the worlds can meet, if you just approach it with love,” she added.
