Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s personal life is not so personal anymore. It has come under media scrutiny after Raj Kundra’s arrest in connection with the pornographic racket case. On Monday, Shilpa Shetty had addressed the controversy related to her husband Raj Kundra’s arrest in an official statement and requested the public to respect her privacy in these tough times. Sharing a long note she mentioned that the past few days have been really challenging for her.
She had added, “Reiterating my philosophy of, as a celebrity “Never complain, never explain”. All I will say is, as it’s an ongoing investigation, I have full faith in the Mumbai Police & the Indian judiciary. As a family, we are taking recourse to all our available legal remedies. But, till then I humbly request you – especially as a MOTHER – to respect our privacy for my children’s sake.”

Shilpa Shetty’s sister Shamita Shetty extended her support to the actress. She commented, “I love u my munki and with you always through thick n thin.. always @theshilpashetty.” R Madhavan also reacted to her post. He wrote, “You are one of the strongest people I know and I have complete faith that this challenge too you will overcome with grace and dignity. Our prayers always with you and your family.”
