Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar are now husband and wife, the couple tied the knot in February this year. Shibani and Farhan chose an intimate wedding ceremony and took vows in the presence of their friends and family. In the photos of their wedding, the couple looked gorgeous in their outfits. where Shibani chose to wear a red gown while Farhan opted for a black tuxedo.
If reports are to be believed the couple had the first time on the sets of the show ‘I can do that’ which was broadcasted on Zee Tv.
On the show, Farhan was judging the show and Shibani had participated as a contestant. Talking about their love story, Shibani in an interview with a magazine revealed that Farhan and Shibani started chatting via messages. The messages soon turned into video calls and both found different sides of eachother that none of them had imagined.
Shibani in the same interview also revealed who had proposed to whom for marriage. According to Shibani, Farhan was the one to first pop the question. The couple was in the Maldives when Farhan proposed Shibani and hence the beach destination is special for both of them.
Shibani said that she had not imagined that it was going to happen. The couple had never discussed about it. But as per Shibani when Farhan decides on something, he does it. She said that she was not the kind of person who wanted to get married but when the actor asked her, it felt right in the moment and after her initial shock, Shibani said yes to Farhan’s proposal.
