Shehnaaz Gill questions Shahid Kapoor’s loyalty
When discussing Shahid’s most recent film, Farzi, the actor said that each character is the hero of his or her own story and the villain of another. Calling Shahid attractive, Shehnaaz responded in her upbeat manner by stating that she refuses to accept Shahid as the villain. She added that by getting married, the Jersey actor had shattered the hearts of countless women.
Then Shehnaaz directly questioned him about his loyalty. At this point, their casual discussion escalated into a humorous boy-versus-girl argument. Shahid quickly responded and enquired as to whether she had any doubts. He continued to make fun of her by saying that women are never honest. Regarding the same, Shahid stated: “Na mein matlab sawal tha. Ladkiyan aise hi poochti hain sawal, kabhi seedha sawal nahi poochti.”
Shehnaaz shared after Shahid’s response that while boys aren’t faithful, girls are attractive and possessive. Shehnaaz humorously explained that she had no choice but to follow the males when Shahid questioned her about it. Later in the same conversation, Shehnaaz asked Shahid if he understood what the word “Farzi” meant. He asserted that he does and described himself as being false and outright dishonest. The actor jokingly remarked: “Main pura fake hoon, mere andar koi real cheez hai hi nahi.”
Shehnaaz immediately counter-asked him, asking if he didn’t require Mira, his wife, to give him permission to carry out his desires. Shahid laughed it off and said she was getting him into trouble, which put an end to their amusing fight. Shahid Kapoor married his lady love, Mira Rajput, 14 years younger than him, in a private ceremony in Gurgaon on July 7, 2015, in the presence of close friends and family members, followed by a grand reception. Mira hails from a well-to-do business family. After two years of marriage, the duo welcomed their daughter, Misha, in August 2016 and their son, Zain, in September 2018.
