Raveena Tandon recently made waves when she addressed her broken engagement with Akshay Kumar in an interview for the first time. Now, the 90s actress has addressed another contentious issue in her professional life. The supposed quarrel between the two performers, who appeared together in films such as Andaz Apna Apna (1994), has sparked interest even now. The KGF Chapter 2 actress has spoken about her 1990s catfight with Karisma Kapoor and whether she is still friends with her.

Raveena was asked about their present relationship in a recent interview, and the actor responded briefly that the two met socially. She also mentioned that they aren’t the greatest of friends.

In an interview with ANI, Raveena Tandon stated Whenever the two actresses meet, they greet each other cordially and they also chilled out together. She said that they used to party together back in time as well, for the holi parties Raveena used to pick Urmila for the festivities.”We do meet socially, but I suppose she has her established circle (of friends),” Raveena stated when asked if Karisma was one of her film business buddies.”

The actress spoke candidly in the interview and mentioned that magazine journalism in the 90s was toxic. She said that the news editors wanted to be in a relationship with the heroes so they only wrote what the male lead told them and never bothered to cross-check with female actors. She further mentioned that many women who used to body shame other women are now holding flags for feminism.
