Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is set to reunite with her The Family Man directors Raj & DK for the upcoming Amazon Prime series Citadel: Honey Bunny. The high-octane spy thriller, scheduled for release on November 7, features intense action sequences, many of which Samantha performed herself. However, one particular stunt left the actor with a concussion that she recently opened up about.

In an interview with Galatta India, Samantha recounted the harrowing experience on set. She revealed that the injury caused her to temporarily lose her memory, saying, “I had a concussion and I forgot the names after that. I completely blanked out. That was quite something.”

The actor added humor to the story, recalling how no one immediately took her to the hospital. “Now that I think of it, nobody took me to the hospital. Nobody asked me,” she said jokingly. Sita Menon, one of the show’s writers, clarified during the interview that there was, in fact, a doctor on call at the time—a detail Samantha doesn’t remember due to the concussion.

Samantha also recalled her determination to continue filming, despite her injury. She explained that she wanted to push through because they had limited access to the shooting location. “I remember, during my concussion, hearing that we have the set only for less than a day, we need to finish the shoot. So in my concussion, I was like, ‘I am coming, people, I am coming.’”

However, as soon as she tried to resume work, the production team quickly realized it wasn’t feasible. “The stunt guy was in front of me, and then I was like, ‘What am I doing?’ and they were like, ‘Okay, cut, not happening,’” she recalled.
